Vital Earthā€™sĀ® Premium Potting Soil

Our high-quality potting soil is the perfect medium in which you grow all your fruits and vegetables. With sphagnum peat moss, which increases the holding capacity of air and water and decomposes very slowly, your plants are sure to be happy and healthy from seeding to harvest. In addition to sphagnum peat moss, our potting soil also contains an earthworm bedding, which helps nutrient and water absorption. As if it weren't enough, our premium potting soil also contains our own specially formulated Vital Earth'sĀ® Organic Compost, which provides fertility to soil. The humus in Vital Earth'sĀ® Potting Soil helps the soil retain moisture by increasing its microporosity.

Vital Earthā€™sĀ® Loose CocoĀ®Ā is a natural fiber made from coconut husks and is a renewable resource alternative to peat moss. The extraction of the coconut fiber from the husks gives the by-product called coco pith, or coco coir.

Vital Earthā€™sĀ® Loose CocoĀ®Ā is a 100% natural growing medium that is naturally dried in the sun and then processed to produce Vital Earthā€™sĀ® Loose CocoĀ®. This makes an excellent growing medium for hydroponics or container plant growing.

Application Rates:

Gently add water and crumble into soil. Ratio of coco pith to soil dependent upon amount of water retention desired.

Tips:

  • The preferred method to break up coco block is to use a chipper shredder.
